Step 1: You Decide
For Birth Announcements, you have the choice of renting our Storks Yard Signs in Pink or Blue for 5 days. And you can add to it our Star Yard Signs, Dog Bones, or Cat Signs.
Planning an event? No worries, we’ve got you covered! You can rent any of our signs for up to 2 days to make your event stand out from the rest.

Step 2: You Provide Information
To make sure we get everything just right, we’ll need a few details from you. For our Birth Announcements Signs, like our Storks, we’ll need the baby’s first and middle name, date of birth, weight, and length. For our other signs, like Stars, Dog Bones, and Cat Signs, we’ll need to know the message you’d like on each sign.
In addition to your sign preferences, we’ll also need your details and the recipient’s details, including names, addresses, and contact information. Don’t worry, though – we’ll keep all of your information safe and secure.
Step 3: You Pay and We Install

When it comes to payment, we accept most orders via Paypal on our website. Just remember, all orders must be paid in advance to guarantee your delivery. We hate to do it, but we’ll have to cancel orders that haven’t been paid for 24 hours before the stork delivery date.

Do I need to have a front lawn to install a Stork Sign?
We want to make sure that your stork sign installation goes smoothly, so it’s important to have a traditional residential lawn for us to work with. This means an unobstructed area of grassy soil that we can safely and properly drive our stake into. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to install signs in rocky or hard-packed areas, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, thick landscaping, or on any public structures. We don’t want to impede access or face any fines, so we’ll need to avoid these areas. If you have any questions or concerns about your lawn, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help!
We also offer Just the Bundles personalized with the baby’s details for those who live in an apartment or do not have a front yard/lawn. This bundle can be decorated on the apartment door to announce friends and family of a new baby.
How early should I reserve a stork sign?
We’re excited to help you celebrate your new arrival or special event with one of our personalized signs! To make sure we’re prepared, we only accept reservations for our signs for scheduled births or events. If you’ve had a normal delivery, just give us a call as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to set up the stork in your yard before you and your baby arrive home from the hospital. Typically, we deliver within 24-48 hours under normal circumstances. We can’t wait to make your celebration even more special! For a rush order, please give us a call to see if we have availability. We do charge a $20 rush fee. Most often, we are able to install the sign(s) before the baby arrives home, but it is not guaranteed.
How long is the Stork rental for?
We offer 5-day rentals for birth announcements, so your neighborhood can share in your excitement for an entire week! If you’re planning an event like a baby shower or sip and see, we offer up to 2-day rentals so you can make your celebration even more special. How much is a baby stork lawn sign and are there any extra charges?
Our stork signs are super affordable at just $95 for the 5-day rental period, and they come with a personalized bundle that you get to keep as a keepsake after the rental is over. We do have a small delivery fee of $10 for deliveries that are over 10 miles from our base address, and for deliveries over 20 miles, we charge $20. Don’t worry though, we take care of everything from delivery to set up and even pickup of the stork sign. And yes, all the personalized bundles and add-on signs are left behind as keepsakes!
Where will you install the newborn announcement sign in the yard?
We want to make sure your stork sign is not only visible but also makes a great addition to your family photos! We usually stake the sign in the front yard to ensure it’s easily visible from the road. However, if you have a specific location in mind, just let us know before we arrive, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We’re always happy to work with you to make your stork sign experience as special as possible!
How can I pay and rent out the stork signs for birth announcements or an event?
We’d love to hear from you! You can share all the details of your special occasion by placing an order here, or you can give us a call, shoot us a text at 864-266-0383, or send us an email at storksandmoreofsouthgeorgia@gmail.com. You can pay for your sign rental online with a credit card. We’ll reserve your sign as soon as your payment is complete, and we kindly ask for full payment before the delivery of your sign.
Where do you deliver storks to?
We deliver, install, and pick up storks to and from Valdosta, Hahira, Lake Park, Remerton, Dasher, Bemiss, Moody AFB, Blanton, Clyattville, Franklinville, Indianola, Kinderlou, Mineola, Olympia, Ousley, Naylor, Troupville, Twin Lakes, Quitman and Barney
Do you offer signs for multiple births like twins, triplets, or quadruplets?
We have a special offer for multiple births – we can install separate stork signs for each baby so that each little one gets his/her own special announcement! Each sign comes with a personalized bundle that carries the details of each baby, making it a perfect keepsake for the whole family. What do you offer for grandparents?
Celebrating a new grandbaby is an exciting time for grandparents! That’s why we offer stork signs for proud grandparents to announce this special occasion to their community. We have stork signs available with either generic bundles ($70) or personalized bundles ($90) that can be rented for 5 days. Our generic bundles have fun messages like ‘It’s a Grandson’ or ‘It’s a Granddaughter’, while our personalized bundles have all the baby’s details. Plus, only personalized bundles are left behind as keepsakes when we pick up the storks. Contact us to learn more about our stork signs for grandparents!
What do you offer for siblings and pets?
Looking to add a little extra flair to your stork sign rental? Our sibling star signs, message signs, dog bones, or cat signs are the perfect addition for only $25 each. These signs can be personalized with your own message and will be left behind as keepsakes for the family. They also come in pink or blue to match the stork sign. Make sure everyone in the family feels included in the celebration with their own special sign. Do you cancel and refund an order?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your stork or birthday sign rental from Storks and More of South Georgia! If for any reason we are unable to fulfill your order as requested, we will issue a full refund. Please keep in mind that last-minute requests may not be eligible for a refund. We kindly ask for a 24-hour window to fulfill any requests that were not previously discussed at the time of booking.
Here are some cases where you will receive a full refund:
- You cancel your stork or birthday sign rental at least 72 hours in advance
- Extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign
Please note that you will not receive a refund if any of the following apply:
- We are unable to access a gated community due to an incorrect or missing gate code
- The security guard at a gated community does not grant us entry after a maximum of 10 minutes of waiting time. It’s important to make arrangements with the guard prior to delivery.
- The homeowner or recipient does not allow us to set up the sign or requests early pick-up of the sign before the end of the rental period
- If a dog or other animal threatens or prevents us from accessing the property
- If the location does not have a traditional lawn, which we define as a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on top.
